New or Returning Governor? New
Describe your day job: I put pen to paper for CW's super-fast super-hero show The Flash
Credits of which you're most proud: I'll always hold a special place in my heart for my very first writing gig, which landed me into the WGA, writing for VH1's soapy dance drama, Hit the Floor.
Why did you want to be a Television Academy governor? I love creating connections between, and for, writers and was excited by the opportunity to be able to do more of that at the Academy.
What do you hope to accomplish as a governor? I hope to bring a new batch of fresh, diverse TV writers into the writers peer group fold.
Why is the Academy important to the industry? The Academy allows us to celebrate and honor the excellent (often painstaking) work created by peers every year.
