The Television Academy announced today that the online entry site is open for submissions to the 16th Television Academy Honors, which celebrates programming that inspires, educates and motivates audiences around the world.
Applicants can visit TelevisionAcademy.com/Honors/submit to submit entries for this prestigious award. The deadline for submission is Jan. 13, 2023.
Television Academy Honors recognizes programming and programmers that explore issues of concern to society in compelling, emotional and insightful ways, influencing hearts and minds and fueling social change while raising awareness of significant issues facing the world today.
Entries may be made for fiction or nonfiction series, television movies, limited series or fiction/nonfiction specials, and short-form programming from all traditional dayparts that aired from Jan. 1-Dec. 31, 2022.
Previous honorees represent some of the most dynamic and relevant series, programs and documentaries on television including: 16 Shots (Showtime), black-ish (ABC), Dopesick (Hulu), I Am Greta (Hulu), Insecure (HBO/HBO Max), Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj (Netflix), Pose (FX), Reservation Dogs (FX), Stand Up to Cancer (ABC; CBS; NBC), The Daily Show with Trevor Noah (Comedy Central), The Year Earth Changed (Apple TV+) and Watchmen (HBO).
