Priscilla Pointer was an actor who appeared in television series and films. She was perhaps best known to television audiences as Rebecca Barnes Wentworth in the original version of Dallas and she also appeared in L.A. Law, the original version of Amazing Stories, and Barnaby Jones. She can also be seen in films such as "Blue Velvet," "The Falcon and the Snowman," and "Looking for Mr. Goodbar."
Pointer was also the mother of the actor Amy Irving, the singer Katie Irving, and the writer-director David Irving.
