Marvin Laird was a composer who worked on music for television series and specials. He served as the composer for episodes of Keep on Truckin', Maude, The Baxters, Quincy, M.E., Bare Essence and Dynasty. He worked in the general music department, wearing many hats, on sets of That's Life, NBC Follies, Cher and 3 Girls 3.

Laird worked on television specials including G.I.T. on Broadway, Don't Call Me Mama Anymore, Happy Birthday, Bob, Liza Minnelli Live from Radio City Music Hall, The Shirley MacLaine Special: Where Do We Go from Here? and Bernadette Peters in Concert.
